Video Production Process

We have now implemented a ten point failsafe production methodology that is designed to give clients total confidence that the final video produced will be exactly what they are looking for.

The steps are as follows:

1. Research. We thoroughly research the script ensuring that we understand the messages that you wish to communicate and devise the best way to present them.

2. Scripting. We will write the first draft script within 5 days of research with full textual storyboard. We will then continue to rewrite the script, absorbing all of your input, until you are totally convinced that it is exactly what you were looking for.

3. Filming. We bring an external monitor on every shoot so that you can check you are happy with the composition and lighting of every shot. It also helps ensure that there are no health and safety breaches or extraneous props (post-its, mugs etc.). Everything is filmed to broadcast quality standards and every cameraman has extensive broadcast experience.

4. Animating. All animations, if required, are first produced as still artwork so that you can approve the design, lighting and modelling before full animation is undertaken. All animation is completed prior to editing.

5. Voicing/Presenter/Actor Casting. We will make recommendations for the voice over or presenter and supply mp3 files for you to listen to and choose from. We will also supply photos and CVs of any actors than may be required.

6. Voice Over Recording. All voice over sessions are conducted in the most prestigious recording studios to ensure the best quality sound. Clients are invited to attend these sessions to ensure everything is pronounced and emphasised as they would wish. If unable to attend we can set up conference facilities so that clients can listen to the recorded script while the artist is still in the studio.

7. Language Translations. DVDs can have multiple sound and subtitle tracks. If required, all translations will be undertaken by a professional translations company who specialise in video and television script translation and the scripts then read by native foreign voiceover professionals who have neutral non-regional accents.

8. Editing. Before we edit we will discuss with you the many treatments that we can apply to the video sequences to add further impact, and the animated overlay design features that will enhance the final sequences. We have invested a great deal of money in stunning animated overlays and backgrounds and very impressive animated text boxes etc. to impress the viewer and make it as televisual as possible, all of which are available at your disposal. We also have a program that automatically applies impressive animation to any text captioning that may be required. As with the script writing we will continue the editing process until you are totally happy with the results.

9. Copyrighting. ***Very Important*** We will sign over all copyrights to original material produced for your DVD. So many problems can occur when production companies are unwilling to sign over full copyright of video material, source code and graphics in order to tie you to them as a supplier. We believe that it is up to us to ensure a client has no desire to look elsewhere and they should be free to do so if they choose. The confidentiality of every client and employee must be protected.
10. Security and Backup. ***Very Important*** We provide an 80GB External Hard Disk containing all assets used in the production to our clients. This includes all original video footage, animations, audio files, logos, images, graphics and DVD and CD source materials, final edited programs, animated backgrounds and overlays and voice over/presenter files. Everything is laid out with well structured directories for ease of retrieval. This gives you the reassurance that all of your material is preserved for future updates and further projects whatever happened to the supplier. It gives you total flexibility, security and even greater peace of mind.
